A 3.5-ton Illegal Tobacco Smuggling Attempt Was Foiled

According to Mutlaq Al-Enezi, the Director of Air Customs, the customs team intercepted a shipment of 69,000 bags of banned tobacco weighing an estimated 3.5 tons and stated it was described as clothing. In response to the falsified customs declaration, a customs seizure report was issued.

Sulaiman Al-Fahd, the Director General of the General Administration of Customs, praised the inspection and audit sector for its unwavering efforts to combat customs smuggling, regardless of the variety of smuggling methods and attempts to manipulate customs data.
