559 Expats Arrested For Visa Law Violation

In an ongoing effort to uphold security standards, morning and evening security campaigns have been heightened across various regions. The Residence Investigation officers in Farwaniya, Fahaheel, Mahboula, Al-Mangaf, Kabd, Salmiya, Hawally, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Jabriya recently targeted violators of the Residency and Work Law.

The comprehensive inspection campaigns conducted by the Ministry of Interior in specified areas, including Farwaniya, Fahaheel, Mahboula, Al-Mangaf, Kabd, Salmiya, Hawally, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, and Jabriya, these operations resulted in the arrest of 559 expats from various nationalities. Among those detained, 3 were found working in a fake servants’ office, and 6 were involved in the management of two unlicensed warehouses. Legal measures are currently underway against all offenders, and they will be duly referred to the appropriate authorities.
