5 Reckless Motorists Arrested During Taima Security Campaign

The Jahra Security Directorate's patrols began a campaign against reckless motorists and traffic law violators in residential areas. A chaotic scene was created in front of private homes in Taima, Jahra, and 20 traffic violations were issued, and five people were arrested and referred to the General Traffic Department for driving sports cars without a license.

It was reported in the Al-Anba daily that some of them drove cars with exhausts specially designed to make annoying noises.

The arrestees are charged with non-compliance with security and safety regulations. The daily added, the security authorities have impounded and towed to the traffic detention garage.

Residents of the area complained to the Ministry of Interior's Operations Department, which organized this campaign.
