4 Youngsters Detained For Causing Death Of 2 In Mishap

The Juvenile Prosecution ordered the detention of 4 youngsters for assaulting two Kuwaitis and a GCC national, and causing their vehicle to topple in a hot chase through which two people died, reports Al- Anba daily. Detectives managed to trail three suspects — one of them was driving without license, and the fourth person was arrested upon arrival at Kuwait airport from an unnamed GCC country. Al-Rai daily earlier reported that Jahra securitymen arrested three Kuwaiti youths who caused traffic accident on Abdali Road that led to the death of two people and injury to a third person. It noted security operatives had identified one of the suspects through an investigation, and he admitted chasing the victims alongside two other suspects due to a dispute — in the course of which the car toppled and caused their instantaneous death. The three suspects have since been referred to concerned authorities.
