4 Expats Arrested After Raid On Al-wafrah Farm's Illicit Market
As part of a significant investigation, the General Criminal Investigation Department apprehended four expatriates of Asian descent that were operating an illegal market in Al-Wafrah farms. The market was engaged in the sale of prohibited items, subsidized goods, and counterfeit products. During the successful raid, subsidized goods and counterfeit merchandise were confiscated and a substantial sum was discovered.
Based on confidential information, the General Criminal Investigation Department discovered an illicit central market run by expatriates. This market was engaged in the sale of prohibited items, subsidized supplies provided by the state, and counterfeit goods. The authorities meticulously monitored the market, and after confirming the presence of the four accused individuals, the operation was launched, leading to their apprehension.
A substantial amount of confiscated items and money representing the proceeds from the sale of subsidized supplies and counterfeit products were discovered on the illegal market. The apprehended individuals have since been handed over to the relevant authorities for legal action.
