During a celebration organized by Azerbaijan's embassy, Ambassador Emil Karimov praised the robust bilateral relations between the two countries. A significant rapport between the two nations is evident in history, religion, culture, education, and agriculture, according to the ambassador.

At the event marking the selection of Shusha as the "cultural capital of the Turkish world for the year 2023," Karimov noted how Azerbaijan has become a popular tourist destination for Kuwaitis. Kuwaitis visited Azerbaijan in excess of 22 thousand last year, and over 25 thousand have already done so this year. Whether Kuwaitis apply for visas at the airport or via the official website, Karimov explained how easy it is for them to do so.

Both countries are preparing to celebrate their 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations in October. During the third meeting of the joint committee between the two countries at the ministerial level before the summer begins, Karimov announced plans for the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to visit Kuwait.

According to Karimov, over 20 agreements and memorandums of understanding cover various areas of bilateral cooperation. Kuwaiti investors are invited to explore opportunities in Azerbaijan due to the untapped potential of trade exchange, currently valued at $200 million.

An ambassador from Turkey to Kuwait, Tube Sönmez, echoed the sentiment of deep-rooted relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan. Her emphasis was on Azerbaijan's unwavering commitment to its prosperity, especially in liberated Karabakh and Shusha. The two nations share a common history, culture, and aspirations, according to Sönmez.

Ambassador Azamat Varagolov expressed gratitude for the fraternal relations, friendship, and mutual support between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, emphasizing their strategic partnership. Moreover, Kazakhstan's Ambassador Azamat Berdbay highlighted Azerbaijan's status as a strategic partner in the Turkish region, with a 40% increase in trade exchange in 2022 indicating the country's commitment to economic development.

As part of a diplomatic move, Kazakhstan granted Kuwait membership in the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA). In his remarks, Ambassador Berdbay noted that Kuwait's inclusion would contribute to the development and strengthening of the CICA's reputation and effectiveness in addressing global issues.
