107 Labor Subsidy Requests Received By Pam
On the first day of the launch of opening files and receiving applications, which was yesterday, the Acting Director of the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), Marzouq Al-Otaibi, reported that 107 requests had been received for the disbursement of labor support to nanoentrepreneurs and those who practice special activities.
Al-Otaibi said, “This step is part of implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 1037/2023, which added a new clause to Article 1 of the Resolution. To grant social allowances and children's allowances to professionals and craftspeople and non-government workers, 391/2001 was issued. In a statement issued following an inspection tour yesterday morning at the Farwaniya Labor Department in Andalous on the occasion of the launch of opening files and receiving requests for the disbursement of labor support, Al-Otaibi indicated that 80 inquiries were received from the department specializing in the administration of the disbursement of benefits. First, the applicant must obtain a license for micro-activities or activities of a special nature from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and register as an employer with the Public Institution for Social Security. In his remarks, PAM's Director General thanked the workers in the relevant sectors for the fast progress and wished the business owners success, stressing that PAM is doing everything it can to remove obstacles for employers.
