Rashed Al-Khudhur Music
After studying the “Qanoun” (Zither) at the Institute of Musical Studies, Rashed Al-Khedr started, since the 1970s, working on composing music for songs. One of the his earliest works was the composition of a song called Rahaltay (You’ve Left), one of the first songs performed by young Abdullah Al-Rowaished at the time, and the song was the rise to fame for both of them. By commemorating Rashed Al-Khedr musical compositions, Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center also commemorates the most important Kuwaiti and Gulf singers who performed his works and appreciates a form of singing that still has its fingerprint on the domestic and regional music.
