Pandit Anindo Chatterjee is a rare phenomenon in the art of tabla playing. The power and speed combined with the tonal clarity and sweetness of his playing is unparalleled and speak years of back-breaking practice. His vast knowledge of repertoire and ability to improvise in every style of tabla playing make him an invaluable asset to Indian classical music and a reference to its scholars. The spontaneity and intuitiveness of both his accompaniment and solo improvisations speak of the depth of his artistry and leave his audiences speechless. Anindo Chatterjee is one of the great musicians of our time. He hails from a family of dedicated and accomplished musicians. Anindo’s table debut was at the age of 10 infused with the legacy of Farukhabad gharana. His repertoire is not predictable and extremely diverse. With technical and artistic brilliance, he presents some of the most difficult material in the table repertoire even at extreme speeds with uncompromised clarity and beauty. He is the composer of countless compositions through which he explores the edge of possible and makes his timeless contribution to the art form. His playing is the pinnacle for tabla lovers around the world. He has been playing with the topmost legends of Indian classical music in performances and concert all over the world. He became the youngest tabla player ever to perform in the House of Commons in London (UK). He has made countless recordings for both National and International houses touching the world with his music. 
Anindo has been honoured and has received various prestigious Awards and Accolades from around the World. As a Guru and teacher Anindo is equally accomplished. He has taught in the American Center for Performing Arts in Berkeley, Texas University, Pittsburgh University, Leeds 
University, Rabindra Bharati University and more. Anindo has many very promising disciples making their way to the stage as stalwarts of the next generation including his gifted son Anubrata Chatterjee. 

Dilshad Khan born in 1983 in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. He belongs to the Sikar Gharana of music which has given several stalwarts to Indian classical music. He is the ninth generation to take up Sarangi. His great grandfather Ustad Azim Khan was a court musician at Sikar in Rajasthan.
He began his training at the age of 6 in music from his grandfather Ustad Gulab Khan Sahab, who was a great sarangi player and vocalist of his time and from his father Ustad Nasir Khan Sahab who was also a great sitar player. Later, he started learning sarangi from his legendary uncle, Padma Bhushan Ustad Sultan Khan Sahab, who is one of the most renowned sarangi players and Indian Vocalist. Ustad Sultan Khan Sahab gave a new dimension to sarangi and played the key role in popularizing this ancient classical instrument of India.
Dilshad Khan gave his first performance at the age of 10 at All India Radio Youth festival in Jodhpur. He is known today for his excellent command on this difficult instrument and has already remarkably imbibed almost his great uncle’s entire repertoire with a similar command and mastery on the sarangi. He clearly has music in his DNA and has shared the stage with his uncle Padma Bhushan Ustad Sultan Khan Sahab many times.
Apart from his solo performances he has had the honour to perform with artists like Ustad Zakir Hussain, Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri, Trilok Gurtu, Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan, Pt. Ajay Pohankar, Pt. Ajay Chakrabarty, Sivamani, Pt. Anindo Chatterjee, Louis Banks, Abida Parveen, Hariharan, Pankaj Udhas, Talat Aziz, Shankar Mahadevan, Pt. Rajan Sajan Mishra, Ustad Fazal Qureshi, Nitin Swahney, Babani Kone, Juliet Robertz, Mickey Hart, Taufiq Qureshi and many more. He has played sarangi with Ustad Zakir Hussain in the album Global Drum Project which won the prestigious Grammy Award in 2009.
Dilshad Khan is also a famous name in Bollywood music industry, he has played for more than 500 Bollywood movies. He has played sarangi in hit films like Devdas, Namaste London, Mohabbatein, Goal, Rockstar, Faltu, Mausam, Guzaarish, Jhoom Bara Bar Jhoom, Kyunki, Red, Tere Naam, Dhobi Ghat just to name few.
He has given many performances in all the major music festivals and concerts in India like Savai Gandharva in Pune, Saptak in Ahmedabad, Shankar Lal music festival in Delhi etc. He has performed in many countries worldwide including the UK, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, Canada, Holland, USA, UAE, Muscat, Bahrain, etc.

Son of the world-renowned tabla maestro, Pt. Anindo Chatterjee, Anubrata Chatterjee was nurtured from a very tender age to be a tabla player. He had the rare fortune of being the youngest and the last “Ganda-Bandh” disciple of the great guru, Padmabhushan - Deshkottam Jnan Prakash Ghosh in 1992. Subsequently, Anubrata continued his training under the gifted tutelage of his father focusing on Farukhabad Gharana along with Lucknow & Ajrada Gharana styles.
He made his debut as an accompanying artist with the legendary Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia and since then, has gone on to successfully accompany living legends of Indian Classical Music such as Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Pandit Birju Maharaj, Pt. Shiv Kumar Sharma, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Sh. T. H. Vikku Vinayakram, and other respected musicians all over the world.
Anubrata has proved himself both as a soloist and as an accompanist, by his consummate tabla renditions. He has also given numerous memorable duet performances along with his father. Taking the ‘parampara’ forward, he has built upon his father’s style and expanded his own repertoire to display an amalgamation of power, grace, skill, and superb tonal clarity.
Internationally, he marked his debut with a solo performance at the B.B.C. World Radio, U.K. in 1991. Since then he has performed world wide.
Anubrata has been invited to perform at some of the most prestigious International festivals held across the globe, such as: Carnagie Hall, The Kennedy Centre Of Performing Arts, Washington DC; The Esplanade Theatres, Singapore; World Percussion Festival, Chicago; The Jerash festival, Jordan; Corfu festival, Greece; Dubrovnic Festival, Croatia; Namaste India Festival, Japan; Reit Burg Museum, Zurich; etc.
In a very memorable performance in Paris, Anubrata accompanied Ustad Amjad Ali Khan along with France’s National symphony orchestra called the Orchestre National d’Île de France. And, in the year 2012, he also had the privilege to perform for the then Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at Grand Hyaat, Mumbai.
Taking after his father, Anubrata gives great importance to imparting quality training to his students. He holds regular workshops in New York at MATRA (Music Academy for Tabla Research by Anindo Chatterjee) In the past, he has conducted numerous workshops in Japan, inspiring many students to undertake advanced training under him.
While being deeply rooted in the traditional style of playing, Anubrata also understands the need for his art to be contemporary. He actively collaborates on projects that are traditional yet new age, which especially strike a chord with the youth. Based on this thought, he formed a unique percussion group named Taal-India wherein every region of the country was represented by a percussion instrument.
He has also been a part of various fusion bands and has had the opportunity to share a stage with prominent artists such as Shankar Mahadevan, Ranjit Barot, Rahim al Haj (a renowned Oud player from Iraq) etc. 
Currently, Anubrata has created his band named, LayaCurry and Beats & Pieces is being appreciated all over my musicians are music lovers all over the world.
His institution, Music Academy for Tabla Research by Anindo Chatterjee (MATRA) focuses on teaching the art all over the world.
Anubrata has been conferred with the Basavaraj Rajguru Award in 2014 and prestigious, Sangeet Natak Akademi Yuva Award, 2016.
