No Exceptions Are Made Who Have Completed 34 Years Of Service
Director of the General Administration of Customs Jamal Al-Jalawi said no exceptions are made when it comes to sending into retirement all those who have completed 34 years of service, reports Al-Rai daily. Al-Jalawi revealed the customs administration is in the process of issuing a decision to refer more than eighty employees to retirement in accordance with the decision of the Civil Service Commission.
;Al-Jalawi added the real number of retirees will not be known before the signing of the decision. He said, new names may be added. He also pointed out that those who will be referred to retirement shall work until the end of December.
He added the customs department has suspended the appointment for administrative jobs until May 2018 in line with the agreement with the Public Authority for Applied Education and Training to hold courses for customs inspectors in terms of inspection, security and safety procedures. Al-Jalawi stressed on the automated fingerprint identification system as a proof of work attendance which will be applied as of October 1.
