Medics, Politicians Thanked For Anti-virus Efforts By Health Minister
Dr. Khaled Al-Said, Kuwait's Minister of Health, praised Wednesday the political leadership, medical staff, and state agencies' combined efforts against the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19).
As a result of today's extraordinary cabinet meeting, the minister told reporters that a series of decrees have been issued to restore normalcy to the country.
The decrees designed to lift the precautionary measures in place to thwart the world health crisis and safeguard citizens and residents were a mutual effort, he said.
While hailing the sincere efforts and sacrifices made by medical teams to fight the viral disease, the minister stressed the need for collaboration in harnessing all energies for safeguarding health security in the country.
Despite the relief of health restrictions, medical teams are still on alert to monitor the situation in all governorates, the minister said.
An earlier decision by the Kuwaiti Cabinet revoked all anti-coronavirus vaccination restrictions and PCR testing restrictions for incoming travellers, making facemasks optional in indoor and outdoor public places and returning unvaccinated fans to stadiums.
