10 Arrests, 26,430 Violations In 96 Hours Following Traffic Clampdown

The General Traffic Department and the Rescue Police Department have recorded 26,430 traffic violations, arrested 46 violators, and referred 10 people to the Directorate-General for Drug Control.

During the traffic campaigns from September 30, 2023 to October 3, this year, the GTD reported that 49 vehicles and 11 motorbikes were impounded by the traffic police, and 11 wanted persons were arrested.

Moreover, nine violators whose residency had expired were arrested, two people were in an abnormal condition, five people without proof were detained, and an accused was referred to the General Administration for Drug Control, and a juvenile was referred to the Juvenile Prosecution.
