Facilitator: Belal Jammal @belaljay Class Description: This course will mix a theoretical and practical overview of photography, zine-making, visual communication, and digital and print media. Upon covering a historical and contemporary outline of these topics, students will work on their ability to organize their ideas and communicate them in a visual and artistic way by creating zines that interconnect a topic, person, or theme, which they are deeply passionate about. After creating 2 personal zines, students will then be encouraged to collaborate as a group and create a professional photography based zine centered on a theme that will be nominated by the class.
