One year earlier, TID made the second largest Islamic finance deal in the UK history when it acquired one of London\'s most historic buildings, Grosvenor House Apartments. The financial crisis that hit global markets during 2008 negatively influenced the regional markets and the company eventually. TID is overcoming the crisis by preparing to implement a restructuring plan in light of the Financial Stability Law (FSL) issued by the State after the crisis. TID’s restructuring plan gained the approval of more than 80% of the creditors. By June 2011, TID became officially under the protection of FSL, and is currently carrying out its restructuring plan.
