“Ya Hala” Festival: Boosting Tourism And Supporting Small Businesses*
The Standing Committee for National Holidays and Occasions in Kuwait has announced the launch of the highly anticipated “Ya Hala” shopping festival, scheduled to take place from January 21 to March 31. This dynamic event is designed to promote domestic tourism, support small businesses, and invigorate the local economy.
Ceremonial Launch at Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center
The festival was inaugurated with a grand ceremony at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, attended by prominent officials such as Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi and undersecretaries from the Ministries of Information and Commerce.
Dr. Nasser Muhaisen, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, highlighted the committee’s efforts in fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, along with civil society, to ensure the festival's success.

Festival CEO Fadel Al-Dosari emphasized the event's role in extending the celebratory spirit of recent events like the Gulf Cup, further positioning Kuwait as a commercial, cultural, and tourism destination. The “Ya Hala” festival aims to attract both locals and tourists with its vibrant activities and exclusive shopping experiences.
