Winter Season Ends Next Wednesday: Al-ujairi Center

Next Wednesday, according to Al-Ujairi Scientific Center, the winter cold will be over for good. The weather will heat up during the day, and the plants will start to show signs of spring.

As a result of this atmospheric inversion, the center said to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, that it coincides with the beginning of the intimate season, which will last through April 2. The season follows the scorpion season and is preceded by the arm season, reports Al-Rai daily.

It was called Al-Hamim because of the feeling of heat after the cold of winter. The season is divided into two parts, Al-Hamim, the first and second, and is called Al-Hamimeen, as the night and day are equal in the middle.

A spring equinox occurs during the intimate season, when day and night are equal, and the sun rises north perpendicular to the equator at this time. It is important to note that there are two main factors that determine the length of day and night, which are the sun's inclination toward the equator and geographical latitude, taking into account some minor differences based on latitude.

In all parts of the earth, night and day will be equal when the sun is on the equator. The center said that the late Kuwaiti astronomer Dr. Saleh Al-Ujairi, may God have mercy on him, stated in his research and previous studies that Al-Hamim is one of the annual seasons known for its weather fluctuations.

Temperatures are gradually rising during this season, accompanied by thunderstorms and cumulus clouds, while the next month will begin with the intense Sarayat.
