The General Traffic Department has announced a temporary closure of the exit from Al-Mughira bin Shu'ba Street in Salmiya, leading to Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Road (Fifth Ring Road) in the direction of Jahra.

This closure, which is due to essential road maintenance work, commenced on Thursday, July 10, 2025, and is expected to continue until the early morning of Monday, July 14, 2025.

Alternate Routes for Motorists

To reduce congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow, motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes:

• Bida Roundabout towards the Fifth Ring Road (Jahra-bound)
• Qatar Street exit leading to the Fifth Ring Road
• Thaqif Street exit
• Issa Al-Qatami Street exit
