Report From 7-9 Am For Flexible Working Hours
Dr. Amani Buqamaz, Minister of Public Works, has approved a flexible working system for the Ministry of Public Works and the Public Authority for Roads and Transportation during the week from Sunday to Thursday, with seven hours of work per day being the official working hours.
Working hours begin at 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. An employee has the right to report to work at any time during this period, and will clock out after completing seven working hours which is counted from the time he clocked in. An employee will get a grace period of 30 minutes until 9:30am, after which he will be considered late.
If an employee clocks in within the official start period, he or she can clock out 30 minutes before the exact clocking out time, but the grace period cannot be divided between entry and exit times. Those employees who did not benefit from the grace period at the beginning of the work day are allowed to leave 15 minutes before the specified time for the end of the work day, based on the time they punched in.
