Questions Asked About Fingerprint Attendance System For Teachers - Csc
After the Civil Service Commission (CSC) ordered the inclusion of teachers in the fingerprint attendance system, which prompted the concerned authorities to install fingerprint attendance machines in all schools, many people have been asking questions related to the matter, reports Al-Anba daily.
Those questions included – “Will the working hours remain the same as it is now? Will the working hours be reviewed and become seven hours, similar to the working hours of the state employees?”
According to a source, there are indications that the current working hours will be maintained, and the duration of teaching per day will not be extended. He anticipated the concerned authority to issue decisions for implementing the fingerprint attendance process and maintaining the same working hours.
The source said, “Certain aspects are associated with that decision. For instance, will the teachers be obliged to be present in their schools right from beginning until the end of official working hours, like other government employees? Will there be relative flexibility that allow teachers to be in school to teach the lessons that are assigned to them only?” He added, “Does this mean teachers should stay in their schools from start of the working hours, even if they are not teaching the first lesson, until the closing hour, even if they do not have the last lesson?”
