Public Authority For Industry Unveils 'Made In Kuwait' Campaign
In a proactive move to bolster backing for national products and heighten awareness among citizens, the Public Authority for Industry has announced the launch of the "Made in Kuwait" campaign. Scheduled to kick off tomorrow and run until February 22, the initiative aims to provide comprehensive promotional awareness for Kuwaiti goods and products, with the active participation of more than 70 local factories.
Mohammed Al-Adwani, Acting Director General of the Industry Authority, revealed to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the campaign seeks to cultivate patriotic sentiment towards locally manufactured items. The overarching objective is to elevate the promotion and marketing of national products across various sectors, spanning food, electrical, and industrial domains.
Al-Adwani emphasized that the campaign goes beyond mere awareness-raising, intending to inform the public about the significance and quality of national industrial products. Encouraging citizens to prioritize local industries for their purchases, he underscored the high quality and adherence to the highest approved standards of these products.
The campaign plans to host promotional exhibitions for national products and goods at three key locations, targeting a broad audience of citizens and residents. These locations include the Avenues Mall from February 4 to February 8, the Assima Mall from February 11 to February 14, and collaboration with the Ministry of Education, presenting the campaign in more than 30 schools across various governorates and educational levels for boys and girls from February 5 to February 22.
Al-Adwani highlighted that this initiative aligns with the strategic plan of the Public Authority for Industry for the State of Kuwait, extending up to the year 2035. Expressing appreciation for the collaborative efforts of various entities, including the Ministry of Education, commercial complexes, Kuwaiti factories, and the Authority’s employees, he affirmed their collective commitment to portraying a positive image of the Kuwaiti industry. As part of the campaign, gifts and samples of national products will be distributed to enhance the public’s experience and encourage wider participation.
