Power Outages Expected In Hawally, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, And Sabah Al-Ahmad
The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has issued a public notice alerting residents of Hawally, Mubarak Al-Kabeer, and Sabah Al-Ahmad about the possibility of temporary power outages over the coming days. These interruptions are necessary due to exceptionally high electricity consumption during the summer season and ongoing maintenance on power generation units.
Essential Maintenance to Support National Grid Stability
The Ministry emphasized that these precautionary measures are being undertaken to ensure the continued stability of the national power grid and to prepare infrastructure for peak summer loads. Technicians are currently conducting essential maintenance on several power units to maintain operational efficiency and reliability.
“Our priority is to keep disruptions minimal. All power cuts will not exceed two hours,” stated a Ministry spokesperson.
Efforts to Monitor and Manage Energy Loads
The Ministry's operations teams are working around the clock to monitor real-time energy loads and take proactive steps to prevent system overloads. This strategic monitoring is part of a broader initiative to improve infrastructure resilience in light of rising energy demands during the summer months.
The spokesperson added, “We sincerely appreciate our customers’ patience and cooperation as we enhance our energy systems to meet growing demand.”
