PM Chairs Meeting On Housing Project Challenges
His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmed Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah chaired a pivotal meeting of the Coordination Committee for Monitoring Housing Project-Related Services to address persistent challenges in the delivery of housing projects across Kuwait, reports Al-Jarida daily.
High-Level Meeting Focuses on Housing Sector Development
The meeting, convened at Bayan Palace, brought together senior representatives from key government entities, including:
- Ministry of Electricity, Water and Public Works
- Public Authority for Roads and Land Transport
- Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources
- Kuwait Credit Bank
This collaborative forum reviewed the current progress of various government initiatives on infrastructure development and housing projects, identified obstacles hindering timely implementation, and discussed strategies to expedite project completion.
Regular Monitoring and Enhanced Coordination
Participants analyzed progress reports from the concerned authorities in alignment with the approved project timelines. They also evaluated existing roadblocks and explored solutions to streamline coordination among stakeholders.
The committee agreed to maintain a schedule of regular meetings to monitor ongoing progress and enhance inter-agency cooperation to ensure the smooth execution of housing initiatives.
