Passenger with 2kg drugs in 'lost bag' ...Deliberately left bag on carousel at Kuwait airport

A drug dealer came up with an innovative way to smuggle his stuff into oil-rich Kuwait by deliberately forgetting his bag on the carousel, but his trick failed.

Arriving at Kuwait International airport from another country, the passenger left his bag on the carousel and waited for a few hours before going to the “lost and found” section to claim his luggage, according to the Arabic language daily 'Al Watan' said.

 

Instead of giving him his bag, policemen were waiting for the man and gave him the handcuffs after they found 2kg of marijuana in his bag, the paper said.

“He has invented a new way to smuggle drugs into the country but customs and police men were vigilant enough to foil it,” it added without identifying the smuggler.
