Partial Road Closures In Al Salam, Hittin
The General Authority for Roads and Transportation, in collaboration with the General Traffic Department, initiated partial closures of two key roads in the Al Salam and Hittin districts on Saturday morning. These closures are part of a broader infrastructure and service development plan currently underway across several parts of Kuwait.
Streets Affected by the Closures
According to the official statement issued by the Authority, Abdul Rahim Al-Zanki Street in Al Salam has been closed in both directions. In a similar move, Abdullah Al-Sadhan Street in Hittin has also been shut down in both directions. These temporary measures are designed to facilitate essential roadworks and improvements to public services in the affected areas.
Public Safety and Traffic Guidelines
Officials have urged motorists traveling through these neighborhoods to remain cautious. Drivers are advised to follow posted detour signs, adhere to traffic regulations, and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure public safety and avoid congestion. The closures are expected to remain in place until the road development works are completed.
Part of Kuwait’s Broader Development Strategy
These closures are in line with Kuwait’s ongoing efforts to modernize its transportation infrastructure and improve service delivery in residential areas. Similar infrastructure upgrades have recently been implemented in other parts of the country to enhance road safety and travel efficiency for residents and commuters.
