PACI Deletes 554 Addresses, Calls For Immediate Registration
The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) has announced the removal of residential addresses for 554 individuals from its records. This action was taken either with the approval of property owners or due to the demolition of buildings. The authority urges affected individuals to visit PACI within 30 days to register their new addresses and submit the required supporting documents.
Deadline for Address Registration and Penalties for Non-Compliance
PACI has issued a reminder that those affected must complete their new address registration within the stipulated 30-day period. Failure to comply will result in penalties as per Article 33 of Law No. 32 of 1982, which imposes a fine of up to 100 dinars, multiplied by the number of individuals involved. The authority stresses the importance of timely registration to avoid these fines.
Details of the Affected Individuals
The list of names published in the official gazette, "Kuwait Alyoum," includes one individual over 80 years old, several others in their 80s, and a majority of younger and middle-aged individuals. PACI urges all affected individuals to act quickly and ensure their records are updated without delay.
What You Need to Do
If your residential address is among those removed, visit PACI within the next 30 days. Make sure to bring the necessary documents, such as proof of your new address and other identification requirements. This will allow you to avoid penalties and ensure your details remain up to date in the PACI system.
