This enforcement campaign, spanning from September 7 to 13, aims to reduce traffic incidents and promote safer driving habits in Kuwait, home to a population of 4.9 million.
Key Statistics from the Traffic Report
According to data released by the General Department of Traffic, the intensified monitoring led to several significant findings:
68 juveniles were referred to prosecution for driving without licenses.
111 vehicles were impounded as part of the crackdown.
A total of 1,480 accidents were recorded during this period, underlining the need for stricter traffic enforcement to mitigate road accidents.
