MPW Working Group Completes Mission, Submits Report To Al-Rashidi
The Ministry of Public Works has officially announced the completion of its comprehensive restructuring plan. The specialized working group assigned to align the ministry's structure with its updated organizational framework has submitted a final report to Undersecretary Eid Al-Rashidi.
This report includes a thorough inventory of all vacant positions, alongside existing administrative, technical, and support personnel. The restructuring plan outlines a redistribution strategy based on operational requirements and the ministry’s revised structure.
Supervisory Roles Evaluated and Reassigned
The working group reviewed all existing supervisory roles and made recommendations for reassignment and rotation to support the ministry’s strategic goals. Vacant supervisory positions were identified and are set for future appointments.
Additionally, prior decisions related to supervisory roles were re-examined and will be reissued to conform with the updated organizational framework.
Updated Hierarchical Structure Confirmed
The new hierarchy includes the appointment of a full-time undersecretary, two assistant undersecretaries—one for technical affairs and the other for financial and administrative affairs—and two general managers for various sectors.
Tender Agency Requests Road Project Updates
The Central Agency for Public Tenders has asked the ministry to provide updated amendments for two road construction projects—one in the southern agricultural region and the other in the northern area—before final approvals can be granted.
