The Ministry of Justice in Kuwait has rolled out two new electronic notifications under the General Department of Enforcement through the unified government services app, Sahel, as part of its digital transformation strategy.
New Notifications: Disbursement and Deposit of Amount
The newly introduced features—Notice of Disbursement of Amount and Notice of Deposit of Amount—are designed to streamline legal procedures and improve service efficiency.
Notice of Disbursement of Amount
This notification enables users to:
- Track the status of their disbursement requests
- Receive confirmation when the amount is transferred to their bank account
- Understand reasons for rejection, if any
Notice of Deposit of Amount
This feature notifies depositors when a payment must be made to a specific enforcement file. It includes a secure payment link within the Sahel app for convenience and safety.
Enhancing Access to Justice
The Ministry emphasized its commitment to improving judicial accessibility, efficiency, and transparency through smart platforms like Sahel. The digital initiative also reflects broader governmental efforts to modernize public services in Kuwait.
