Maths And English Aptitude Tests Are Taken Online By 3,200 Students
Dr. Rawa Al-Jarallah, Director of Kuwait University's Evaluation and Measurement Center, said 3,200 students took the aptitude exams online in English throughout the university's faculties.
"Because of the mourning period for the President of the UAE, the center has raised its capacity in the exams to be held next week, so that students whose exams were postponed on the day of mourning will be entertained in order for the students not to fall behind their schedules that could coincide with the high school exams, which necessitated converting some electronic exams to paper," Al-Jarallah told a local Arabic daily.
She stated that the next test would be held on Saturday, May 28th, with 6,500 male and female pupils anticipated to participate. There are two types of exams: paper and computerized. The examinations on May 29 would be for English, Arabic, French, and Mathematics, she noted.
"We did not notice any examples of 'absence' during the tests yesterday," she said, "which demonstrates the students' commitment and attention to the guidelines," emphasizing that students are only barred from taking the exams if they do not carry their Civil ID or any other form of identification.
