Kuwait To Safeguard Key Factories, Strategic Supplies In Al-Shuaiba

The Public Authority for Industry (PAI) has reaffirmed its commitment to reinforcing security and emergency preparedness measures across the Al-Shuaiba Industrial Area, with a particular focus on factories storing strategic reserves of food, water, and medicine. This step comes in response to heightened regional developments and aligns with the authority’s ongoing strategy to protect vital infrastructure and personnel.

Emergency Committee Meeting Under Ministerial Directive

During an emergency committee meeting held under the directives of Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajeel, Acting Director General Jarallah Al-Dosari emphasized the urgent need to fortify protective measures at both the PAI’s main headquarters and its external branches.

Strengthened Safety and Coordination Measures

Al-Dosari confirmed that the Authority has activated specialized emergency response teams and established detailed evacuation plans. A 24/7 emergency hotline was also launched to enhance coordination with related authorities.

The PAI prioritizes the safety of employees while maintaining uninterrupted operations, especially in sectors essential to national security and supply continuity.
