Iran Maintains Visa Exemption For Kuwaiti Citizens
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kuwait has officially denied rumors circulating on social media regarding the cancellation of visa-free travel for Kuwaiti citizens. The embassy confirmed that the visa exemption system remains in place, allowing Kuwaiti nationals to visit Iran once every six months without a visa, provided their stay does not exceed 15 days.
Multiple-Entry Visa Options for Frequent Travelers
In addition to the visa-free entry, the embassy emphasized that Kuwaiti citizens who frequently travel to Iran can apply for annual multiple-entry visas. These visas are issued in accordance with established regulations and procedures, facilitating seamless travel for business and tourism purposes.
Official Reassurance Amid Online Speculations
The embassy urged the public to rely on official announcements and avoid spreading unverified information. It reassured Kuwaiti travelers that Iran remains committed to maintaining its visa policies, strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.
Conclusion
The Iranian Embassy's statement puts an end to misleading reports about visa-free travel restrictions. Kuwaiti citizens can continue to benefit from the exemption for short-term visits and apply for multiple-entry visas as per existing regulations.
