Hawalli Security Campaign Leads To 921 Traffic Violations And Multiple Arrests
The Ministry of Interior has initiated a robust security and traffic campaign in the Hawalli area, which was directly led and supervised by Acting Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. This operation is part of the country's continuous efforts to enhance security and maintain order across Kuwait.
Campaign Overview and Key Participants
The campaign involved several key departments from the Traffic and Operations Sector. Among the main contributors were:
- General Traffic Department
- General Department of Emergency Police
- Central General Department of Operations
- Private Security Sector
Notably, the involvement of female police officers played a significant role in the campaign's success, contributing greatly to its achievements in maintaining law and order.
Outcomes of the Campaign
The security and traffic campaign led to significant enforcement actions, including:
- 921 traffic violations were issued.
- 5 individuals were arrested for violating residency and work laws.
- 5 absconding individuals were apprehended.
- 3 wanted individuals were arrested, and 3 others were referred to the General Department for Drug Control.
- A total of 8 vehicles and motorcycles wanted by the judiciary were seized, and 10 vehicles and motorcycles were impounded due to traffic violations.

The Ministry of Interior stressed that these efforts are part of a larger strategy to improve public safety and maintain order. The campaign reflects the Ministry's commitment to continue monitoring and addressing violations, ensuring that Kuwait remains a safe and secure environment for all.
