Get Your International Driving License in Kuwait in Minutes – Here’s How!

Planning an international trip? If you're living in Kuwait, getting an International Driving License (IDL) can be done quickly and easily. This license allows you to drive legally in over 150 countries and can serve as an additional ID. Here’s your step-by-step guide to getting an IDL in Kuwait in just a few minutes!

Step 1: Visit the Kuwait International Automobile Club (KIAC) Website

To get started, visit the KIAC website. This is where you can fill out the online application for your International Driving License.

Step 2: Fill Out the Online Application Form

Here’s what you need to complete the application:

• Applicant Details: Provide your last name, first name, second name, date of birth, place of birth, mobile number, and email address.
• Kuwait Driving License Details: Enter your Civil ID Number, the expiration date of your driving license, and upload the front and back images of your license.
• Type of Kuwait Driving License: Specify whether your license is for a private vehicle (saloon), motorcycle, or general (heavy) vehicle.
• Personal Photo: Upload a photo that meets the specified requirements (max 2MB).
• Validity Period: Choose the one-year validity option (10 K.D).

Step 3: Choose Your Delivery Option

You have two options to receive your IDL:

1. Pickup from Shuwaikh Branch: Collect your IDL in person at the Shuwaikh branch.
2. Delivery: For an additional 3 K.D, have your IDL delivered to your address.

Step 4: Submit and Pay

Review all details and submit your application. The fee for the one-year International Driving License is 10 K.D.
