Extensive Road Maintenance Begins In Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate
The Minister of Public Works, Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, has announced the commencement of a major road maintenance initiative in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate as part of a nationwide effort to enhance Kuwait's road infrastructure.
Commitment to Quality and Timely Completion
Dr. Al-Mashaan emphasized the importance of completing the work swiftly and efficiently while adhering to strict quality standards. The maintenance works are part of a broader initiative that includes 18 major road projects across the country.
Strategic Road Maintenance Plan
The maintenance efforts will be carried out in stages, with work initially focusing on the most affected areas in Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate. Dr. Al-Mashaan pointed out that a specialized team will oversee the project, ensuring the highest quality and timely completion.
Coordination and Oversight of the Project
A committee has been set up to supervise engineers and ensure that all maintenance activities meet the required technical specifications. Dr. Al-Mashaan called for enhanced coordination to address any issues promptly.
Preparing for the Rainy Season
Engineer Noura Al-Mutairi highlighted the importance of cleaning the rainwater drainage network to prevent water accumulation that could disrupt traffic during the rainy season.
Community Cooperation for Timely Completion
Residents of Mubarak Al-Kabeer Governorate have been urged to cooperate with the authorities to ensure the project is completed on time. Some roads may be closed during maintenance activities, and residents’ support is crucial to avoid delays.
Road Maintenance: A Key Element of “New Kuwait 2035” Vision
The road maintenance initiative is aligned with Kuwait's long-term development plan, “New Kuwait 2035,” aimed at improving the country's infrastructure. Dr. Al-Mashaan acknowledged the support of the Amir and Crown Prince for these vital projects.
