Average Of 303 Road Accidents Every Day In Kuwait Last Year
303 accidents a day in Kuwait last year according to official Interior Ministry statistics. Figures released by the Traffic General Department revealed that 110,892 accidents were registered in 2015, while 429 people were killed in fatal crashes. They include 32 people in the Asima (capital) Governorate, 33 in Hawally, 44 in Farwaniya, 165 in Ahmadi, 122 in Jahra and 33 in Mubarak Al-Kabeer.
Meanwhile, the statistics show that traffic police dealt with 13,580 reckless driving complaints in 2015, with an average of 37 complaints a day, reported Al-Qabas Arabic News paper. Furthermore, the statistics revealed that the traffic department has collected more than KD 70 million in fines for traffic violations last year.
