Assima Mall Chandelier In Kuwait Entered Guinness World Records
After meeting all the standards, Kuwait's Assima Mall Chandelier was certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's largest suspended chandelier. The Chandelier achieved the record to be the largest of its kind in the world in size and dimensions. The largest chandelier is 47.7 m x 29.2 m x 28.3 m and was achieved by Assima Pearls by Assima Mall (Kuwait) in Kuwait City, Kuwait on 29 August 2022.
Located in Kuwait City, Assima means capital in Arabic and has a built-up area of 380,000 square meters.
Assima Pearls was designed and created by Czech designer Kateřina Handlová, who designs and manufactures chandeliers and all kinds of lighting. It weighs approximately 16 tons, has a height of 47.7 meters, a length of 29.2 meters, and a width of 28.3 meters.
