Public Authority for Food and Nutrition Issues 26 Violations in Effort to Ensure Food Safety
A recent inspection by the Public Authority for Food and Nutrition in the Capital Governorate’s Mubarakiya Market has resulted in issuing 26 violations. The crackdown led to the destruction of 262 kilograms of spoiled fish and 25 kilograms of adulterated meat.
According to the Authority, the violations ranged from displaying materials unfit for human consumption to trading adulterated food. Other infractions included employing workers without health certificates and failing to adhere to public hygiene rules and requirements.
