101 Violations Issued In Surprise Traffic Campaign On Al Wafra Road
Traffic patrols in the Ahmadi Governorate executed a surprise campaign on Al-Wafra Road to monitor traffic violations and enhance road safety, as per a Ministry of Interior statement issued on Saturday.
Traffic Violations and Legal Actions
During the campaign, 101 traffic violations were recorded, including reckless driving, failure to adhere to traffic regulations, and driving without a valid license. Additionally, two minors were apprehended for driving underage and were referred to the Juvenile Prosecution for further legal action.
Vehicle Impoundments and Enforcement
As part of the enforcement actions, 10 vehicles were impounded due to serious violations committed by their owners. This highlights the Ministry's commitment to ensuring compliance with traffic laws.
Ministry's Ongoing Efforts to Improve Road Safety
The Ministry emphasized that this initiative is part of the General Traffic Department's continuous efforts to reduce traffic accidents and improve road safety across the country. Further, such campaigns will continue to be implemented to promote road safety and maintain public security.
