Kuwaitis In UAE Advised To Exercise Caution Amid Unstable Weather
In response to the current weather fluctuations in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Consulate of the State of Kuwait in Dubai and the Northern Emirates stated on Wednesday, advising all Kuwaiti citizens and students in the region to exercise caution and stay vigilant.
The Consulate announced that it would be closed on Thursday, the second of May, as a precautionary measure.
Ambassador Ali Al-Dhaidi, Consul General of the State of Kuwait in Dubai and the Northern Emirates emphasized the importance of Kuwaiti citizens and students avoiding unnecessary outings until the weather stabilizes. He urged them to adhere to the instructions and recommendations provided by the Emirati authorities.
Expressing confidence in the UAE’s capability to manage the current weather conditions effectively, Ambassador Al-Dhaidi emphasized the priority of ensuring the safety and security of all individuals in the region. He also expressed hope for a swift return to stable weather conditions.

Dubai Airports also issued a statement, advising passengers departing from Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport on Thursday to arrive well in advance of their flight times to avoid potential delays caused by traffic congestion due to expected weather fluctuations. Additionally, passengers were encouraged to utilize the Dubai Metro for transportation to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport, if possible.
The National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority in the UAE, along with the Dubai government, announced on Wednesday that they have elevated the level of preparedness and readiness of the national system to address the anticipated weather conditions expected on Thursday and Friday.
