Moh Launches Online Appointment Reservation Platform For Patients
The Ministry of Health has announced that patients can now schedule appointments with visiting doctors on their official website or using the " Q8 Seha " application. This is part of the Ministry’s continuous effort to automate its services and improve patient convenience.
According to Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, the Ministry's official spokesman, patients can apply for registration through its website or through the " Q8 Seha " application. The application should include the patient’s information and relevant medical reports. After reviewing the application, the coordination team will decide whether to accept it based on the visiting doctor's specialty and field of practice.
Upon acceptance of the request, the patient will receive a text message with the appointment date and instructions for preparations and examinations prior to the scheduled appointment. This aims to optimize the visiting doctor’s time in serving patients.
Dr. Al-Sanad stressed that this digital transformation and automation of health services is under the direct supervision and guidance of the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, the Undersecretary for Technical Affairs in the Ministry, and Ahmed Gharib, the Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Health, developed the service. Through its work methodology, the Ministry strives to provide patients with the best possible service and convenience.
