‘working Hours From 10 Am To 1 Pm’
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works, Eng. Ismail Al-Failakawi, has issued a decision to reconstitute the Government Vehicles Allocation Committee headed by the Assistant Undersecretary for the Supervision and Auditing Sector and members comprise the ministry’s undersecretaries for maintenance engineering, sanitary engineering affairs, construction projects affairs, financial, administrative and legal affairs, the director of the transportation and mechanical affairs sectors and the stores.
On the other hand, Al-Failakawi, has issued a decision to determine the working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan for the Hijri year 1442 which stipulates the working hours from Sunday to Thursday will be from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. The decision specified the terms of reference for issuing allocation decisions, re-assignment or canceling the allocation, issuing public or personal allocation standards in light of the specific requirements from the Ministry of Finance, inventorying and studying the Ministry’s needs for vehicles and recommending their inclusion in the draft budget, as well as studying the general and technical specifications of vehicles whose allocations have been approved in the budget and informing the concerned authority to prepare purchase orders, in addition to preparing studies of the trade-off between buying or leasing.
The decision includes issuing decisions to determine the number and types of vehicles used within the ministry and the minimum number of years that must pass before replacing them, as well as approving lists of productive ages after which technicians for vehicles operating within the ministry and issuing decisions determining fuel consumption rates for each type of vehicle according to the type of allocation, type of vehicles and their uses.
