Work Underway To Evacuate Bachelors From Residential Areas By Municipality
In a bid to implement the decision issued by Director General of Kuwait Municipality Eng Ahmad Al-Manfouhi to supply Ministry of Electricity and Water with necessary details for cutting off electricity supply to buildings in private residential areas where bachelors reside, Deputy Director General of Kuwait Municipality for Farwaniya and Jahra governorates affairs Fahad Al-Shatieli affirmed that the Municipality is successfully managing to evacuate bachelors who reside among families, reports Al-Rai daily.
He highlighted that no tolerance or leniency will be shown when taking legal actions against the violators of the relevant law, stressing that the evacuation of bachelors from private residential areas is aimed at protecting the society.
In the same context, a reliable source from Kuwait Municipality called for the formation of voluntary popular committees consisting of residents of private residential areas to participate in determining the houses within their areas where bachelors reside. These committees will work on informing their owners of the real-estate about the dangers behind the presence of bachelors among Kuwaiti families, as well as urging the Imams of the mosques in their areas to hint about the seriousness of this phenomenon during the sermons and its negative impact on the society.
