Work Permit Problem

I would like to ask for help for my problem. I am joining a new company and I have submitted my current working permit but the company which I am joining requires the old working permit which was issued 7 years back. I went to the company where I worked 7 years ago and asked for a copy of my work permit but unfortunately my file has already been disposed off. Where can I get the copy of the work permit.

Answer: First of all we don’t understand why your company needs the old work permit. There is no requirement for it. In case, for some reason, it continues to stress the issue it can obtain the work permit plus all other records related to your residence from the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The ministry will make this records accessible to the company if required but not to you. So, ask your company to approach the ministry.
