Welcome To New India - Mobile Services Stopped In Part Of India Capital New Delhi Due To #caa Protest

It is an all-out pandemonium in the streets of Delhi as thousands of people continue to flow to the protests across the national capital against the Citizenship Amendment Act.

Despite Section 144 is in place in Red Fort, and Mandi House thousands have been flocking there for the protests. It is not just vehicular traffic that has been restricted in and around Delhi. 

In an unprecedented move, there have been restrictions on mobile communication in the national capital. Millions of mobile users have also been hit by network outages since the morning. 

Airtel has confirmed that Voice, SMS, and data suspended in certain Delhi areas per instructions from government authorities. 

There are inputs of mobilising people from neighbouring states of Delhi. A message has been given to all concerned districts to keep a check on all Delhi borders. There were few protests in Delhi in the past 24 hours which were organised by mobilising people through WhatsApp groups but no organization has come up to take responsibility, ANI reported.
