Water Supply Disrupted In Nearly 17 Residential Areas Since Thursday

 Water supply has been disrupted in nearly 17 residential areas since Thursday, while some drivers of water tankers have taken advantage of the situation as they increased the price of freshwater to KD 10 per tank in houses and the cooperative societies witnessed crowd of people who purchased different sizes of bottled water, reports Al-Shahed daily. An official statement from the Ministry of Electricity and Water explained the problem originated from the breakdown of the main water pipeline at Doha Pumping Station.

The ministry confirmed that emergency teams have promptly dealt with the situation.
