Wanted Man Arrested

A 1983-born Kuwaiti citizen Mulheim Abdullatif, who is wanted by law over cases filed against him for issuance of dud cheques and for the enforcement of imprisonment sentences of up to 12 years, was arrested in Mahboula area.

In a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the department explained that detectives carried out intensive investigations after receiving information about the suspect’s involvement in several cases as well as the arrest orders issued against him.

They discovered that the total number of jail terms issued against him reached 12 years and 2 years for issuance of dud cheques and for betrayal of trust. He was also ordered to pay a debt worth KD 74,000.

The department revealed that the detectives, after taking necessary measures, arrested him in a trap in his house in Mahboula area and referred him to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
