Vaccination For 75,000 People Starts From Thursday

The Minister of Health, Dr. Basil Al-Sabah, announced that the vaccination campaign against the Coronavirus will start tomorrow, Thursday, at the hall no 5 of International Fairground at Mishref. He also said that batches of vaccines would arrive in the country every month. Minister explained that the vaccination campaign would continue for a full year until all the residents are vaccinated.

The vaccine's initial shipment, which arrived today, contains about 150,000 doses, which can be used for 75,000 people.

The shipment will benefit workers in the front lines, the elderly and people with special needs. Medical teams are ready to start the vaccination campaign as all logistics services are being completed in the fairground's designated hall.

Earlier, the Ministry of Health had announced that it had trained more than 400 employees on dealing with the vaccine.
