The Directorate- General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has said it will approve ‘uniform allowance’ for 750 employees of the DGCA, who will begin work at Kuwait International Airport starting next November, reports Al-Anba daily quoting a reliable source.
The source pointed out that the Department has submitted a full memorandum to the Civil Service Commission, which includes all the items related to the payment and granting these allowances to those who have priority and eligibility in addition to the applicable conditions and regulations related to these allowances as well as the value of the allowance for each employee.
The allowances are operations, engineering and security regulation in various facilities of the Kuwait International Airport. The source explained that the value of allowances vary between employee to employee depending on the degree and job title, and range between 150 to 350 dinars. The source revealed the union of civil aviation workers played an important role in getting these allowances for the employees through negotiations with the DGCA and the Civil Service Commission (CSC).
