Uncertainty Over; First Flight With Domestic Workers From India To Arrive On 23rd

After an indefinite delay on the return of domestic workers from India and other countries, the first flight with domestic passengers from India will arrive on Wednesday 23rd December.


According to sources, the first flight of Kuwait Airways carrying domestic passengers from India will arrive on Wednesday 23rd followed by another flight of Jazeera Airways on Friday.

Two Indian carriers Indian Airways and Air India express will also carry the domestic passengers from India. The Civil Aviation authorities at India and Kuwait agreed to allocate a quota for the number of domestic workers coming from India to Kuwait, by 400 passengers per day, including 200 passengers for Kuwait carries, Kuwait Airways and Al Jazeera, and 200 passengers for Indian carriers, Indian Airlines ad Air India Express.

According to sources, the flight with domestic workers from India and countries such as Bangladesh, Nepal and Srilanka were delayed as the civil aviation authorities in these countries demanded the participation of their national carriers in the plan. Sources added that the authorities are working to resolve the issue with other countries.
