Two Young Siblings Physically Assaulted Security Operatives

Two young siblings physically assaulted security operatives affiliated to Jahra Command and vandalized the windshields of their patrol car. The incident resulted in injury to one officer. A security source said officers at the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry dispatched a team of rescue men to the scene upon receiving a distress call that two siblings were attacking a neighbor. The officers were able to arrest the attackers, but one of them hit a piece of metal object on the hand of a First Sergeant, and inflicted an injury on him. The two suspects went ahead and smashed the front and rear windshields of the patrol car and tried to escape. At a point, the officers were able to surmount the first suspect and put him into the patrol car, while the second suspect fled to their family house. He was eventually arrested. The injured officer was taken to Jahra Hospital for treatment.
